Client: Finished Product Warehouse of a South African Aluminum Profile Factory
Scenario: Aluminum ingots/profiles weigh 3 tons per pallet. Transporting them from the production line to the warehouse requires traversing a 300-meter open-air passage (with a surface temperature of 50℃ in summer).
Challenges:
Batteries of electric forklifts degrade rapidly under high temperatures, with an endurance of only 3 hours.
Heavy dust from open-air operations, coupled with poor heat dissipation in traditional forklifts, easily leads to overheating (boiling).
Solutions:
Deployed Yeawey 3-ton internal combustion forklifts (equipped with turbocharged engines + aluminum radiators), adaptable to high temperatures ranging from 40℃ to 55℃.
Configured with dust-proof air filters and hydraulic oil coolers, enabling 10 hours of continuous operation without overheating.
Customized extended forks (1.8 meters) allow handling 2 bundles of aluminum profiles per pallet, doubling the efficiency.
Results:
The failure rate during the high-temperature season decreased by 90%, reducing maintenance costs by RMB 650,000 per year.
